“Together, Arsenal and the Rwanda Development Board have outperformed the original goals of the partnership – promoting conservation and responsible tourism, motivating countless fans to visit the nation, and building a solid groundwork for visitor increase,” declared an Gunners' release.

The statement continued that the partnership has also supported Rwanda's goal of becoming an global sports center in Africa and host more global sporting events while delivering community soccer programs that have assisted numerous youth athletes and coaches develop their skills and encourage more involvement in sports throughout the nation.

Management Opinion and Fan Backlash

Richard Garlick, Arsenal's chief executive officer, characterized the deal as a “important voyage” and claimed it had been “propelling” the club's aspirations.

Yet this view was contested by a portion of the Gunners' supporters, with the protest movement Gunners Supporting Peace staging protests outside the club's home ground during the initial Champions League semi-final match against the French club in late April.

Protesters displayed a sign stating “Drop Visit Rwanda” and handed out sleeves to conceal the partnership emblem on kits.

At the same time, Atlético Madrid entered a new agreement for the same period that has resulted in the branding featured on the Spanish club's first-team and women's team jerseys.
