Conflict of Rhetoric Among Democratic Party and Republican Party as Federal Funding Lapse Moves into 48-Hour Mark
While the US government shutdown continued into its second day, one-time leader Donald Trump this Thursday celebrated the funding lapse as an “historic chance” to push forward his initiative of dismissing federal employees and shrinking branches.
The ex-leader announced through online channels that he would confer with his budget chief, the White House office of management and budget chief, a designer of the widespread terminations and severance packages for federal workers.
