Former President Trump announced on Sunday that he has asked the relatives of a Guard member tragically killed last week to visit the presidential home.

He mentioned that he spoke to her family and they were “deeply grieving”.

“Sarah was the kind of student that teachers desired. She behaved with quiet strength, a bright grin and a optimistic attitude that encouraged those around her,” the principal, the leader of Beckstrom’s alma mater, stated to the Associated Press. “She was sweet, caring and always willing to assist people.”

Service details for Beckstrom are yet to be finalized.

Law enforcement have indicted a 29-year-old suspect with a charge of first-degree murder and charges of attempted murder while carrying a weapon.

The event caused the administration to suspend refugee claims and cease issuing entry permits to owners of Afghan passports.

Andrew Wolfe, a native of the city, started his military career in February 2019 and is a 2019 graduate of his local high school, per the news agency.

Sarah, from her hometown, completed her education from Webster County high school in 2023 and joined the military shortly after, serving as a law enforcement officer with excellence, according to the West Virginia National Guard.

“She had a lot of goodness and she definitely had bravery,” the governor informed the audience at the service. “Though her life lasted far too short, she has left a mark that’s going to be remembered always.”
